-GETTING UP IN THE MORNING, SITTING ON THE TOILET AND SCOTT CALLING TO SEE IF I WAS UP. ME PICKING UP THE PHONE WHILE ON THE TOILET! LOL..

-EATING BREAKFAST! ASKING IVY IF SHE WAS GOING TO GIVE ME MY SHIRT SHE MADE AND HER SAYING I DID LAST NIGHT.

-THINKING ALL MY PICS HAD BEEN ERASED FROM MY MEMORY CARD, WHEN THE WRONG CARD WAS IN THE CAMERA.

Yo, how can I say how much I enjoyed this experience, it's like trying to find the words to say I love you and mean it. Looking back on the week, it all seems like a blur it went so fast, but a blur I will remember and take with me for the rest of my life!

I want to thank the Staff for creating a great environment for learning getting down and just plain getting crazy at times...(Mikey)...If this type of thing kept going I could see a small educational degree comming from something like this in the future, it would be a "Hip Hop" BA or somthin, I think I've heard of that before somewhere...

I want to thank all the Beat Riders for the individual personality's and dance styles you brought, that made us all feel fortunate to be there.

Shouts out to Cabin 7A the best cabin there haha, Mario you funny man laughter happens with every word you say.

Thank you to Crazy Legs, Nacko, Ken Swift, Suga Pop, Brother, Fayzo, Roc Raida, Fable, Prem, Gremlin, Cros (with minimal words haha), Asia, Matt, the DJ who's name I forgot (sorry bro), Brian Green, and the Octomasher for teaching us all something to take home and spread through dance.

Yo the pool was crazy every night, puttin everyone on that big float, the Pool War we had, and running accross six of them, diving into the seventh was Pharside and my record, I wanna do it again!

I'll see ya'll soon back from the Chocolate Factory (huh Tiff), but always down with the candy and reppin on the floor!! Don't know what I just said but BEAT RIDERS '07!! What!

Whatupsy daisyyy everyone!!!

I just want to thank everybodyy from the bottom of my heart for making last week such a memorable moment for me. I miss you guys so muchh and this sounds madd. corny but I felt like I was more at home with you guys than I am here. Haha yeahhhhh dont laugh! I mean that!! Shizzletots!! It was sadd how we didnt have an official goodbye but I guess there are no goodbyes!! We will all defintly meet up again somehow somewhere in the future! Until then, keep doin your thanggg. All of you guys inspired and motivated me to dance till the end!! Big, Grande, X-Large Shoutout to all the dancers, teachers, staff, faculty, and red bull!! Been getting down with super healty avocado and tofu meals,
yoga warm ups and real bootcamp training. mad classes, lectures And all the people!
Hanging out @ camp in the deep forests got sum real Jason vibes the first night at the lake. The spiders, frogs, snakes and swans and then the 200° cabin! The AC's where on max but still warm as...

Remember the moment in CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY when Charlie gets the last golden ticket and realizes that he's going to get a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet Willie Wonka and visit his factory?

.....This is exactly how I felt when I got the call from Scott that I was accepted into the 2007 Red Bull Beat Riders. I could not believe how blessed and lucky I was. I never imagined myself to have such an amazing opportunity placed before me.

Remember how Charlie and the rest of the kids felt when they finally entered into the factory and saw all the extraordinary, delightful candy inside? There was so much candy EVERYWHERE, it was hard to decide what to taste. Each piece of candy had it's own unique style and flavor, but all were equally exquisite in quality..

..... This is exactly how I felt this past week. I became Charlie in the Chocolate Factory... I felt like a little kid in a candy store... not just any candy store. "THE" candy store. I was one of those lucky kids with a golden ticket to receive an experience of a lifetime to learn from the living legends and dance with some of the best dancers from across the world. There was so much to do and experience, it was almost too good to be true. I often found myself speechless and humbled, unable to find the right words to express what I was feeling inside. I developed an insatiable appetite. I was constantly hungry to learn and share, making sure to savor every experience as much as I could before I was onto the next.

As I'm adjusting back into my life, I feel a calming sense of peace...which is such a blessing. Just like Charlie when he came back home to his family, I stand here today a changed woman. My experience at Beat Riders has postively impacted who I am - not only as a dancer, but as a person in the community. Beat Riders has ignited a big fire in my soul and spirit. I realize so much now what I can do with my God given talents. My eyes and heart have been opened to the possibilities in this world. I'm anxious to use everything I learned to build the future.


I want to thank soooo many people for this experience....

TO ALL THE DANCERS - you are an amazing group of individuals with so much light and artistry to bring to this world. It has been an absolute pleasure to learn and dance with you.

TO ALL THE TEACHERS - please please please keep doing what you're doing. you have SO MUCH valuable knowledge and vision to share. THANK YOU for inspiring us with your wisdom and passions. THANK YOU for sharing with us the gift of Hip Hop. It was a privilege to learn from each of you.

TO ALL THE STAFF - you worked so hard to create a fun, enlightening, and inspiring experience for us. You were each so easy to work with and it was such an honor to be a part of this wonderfully crafted program.

TO RED BULL - it's very rare to meet a corporation that is willing to see things "outide the box" and "keep it real" with the community. Your programs and support are helping to keep the Hip Hop community and culture alive. The impact you are making is priceless.

TO GREMS - you are a TRUE INSPIRATION. you are THA MAAAANNN!! Thank you for working so hard around the clock so that EACH ONE OF US would have a memorable, growing experience of a lifetime. You are a selfless, talented leader in so many ways.

TO CSLA and my family - I wouldn't have been at Beat Riders if it weren't for your support and inspiration. Thank you for shaping me to be who I am today.

TO GOD - who lead me on this journey to Beat Riders. I am so blessed.



It's been an absolute honor to be a part of the 2007 Red Bull Beat Riders Program.
