THE GOOD
-Realizing that beat riders will not just effect me, but my family.
When my son gets older and learns to break, and if beat riders continue doing this beautiful evolution of hip-hop, he will be able to say "My dad was a beat rider back in the day"
-Seeing my son for the first time when i got back and his eye lighting up like I was still his super hero that he looks up to all the time.
-Trying to convert my son from wanting to be a power head when he's only 1 1/2 years old.
-ALMOST everyone happy that I got to go and glad I was back and wanting to hear what it was like.
-Realizing Life and Dreams can be in the same time frame
-Realizing that I did get roasted by Defy and I didn't even know it until lethal lee telling me. WE WILL HAVE A REMATCH CAUSE I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WE WHERE BATTLIN. I don't think she knows either.
-Realizing everyone looking at me like I was weird.
-Proud of repin' N.C. and being surrounded by sick people from the Bay.

THE BAD
-Regretting myself not getting any bodies contact info because although i'm crazy & wild; I'm still anti social.
-Bombing on trying to apply everything i learned at beat riders towards a demonstration 3 days after I got back home.
-Not practicing.
-Not eating like i did at camp
-Procrastination
-Not getting on the grind....no more saying "i'll do it tomorrow"
-Not understanding my notes.
-WORKING!!! cant do it no more. Got to be my own boss.THANX PREM!
-Feeling like an old man.
-Realizing Life & Dreams can also, not be in the same time frame
-Getting Bills Paid and seeing my bank account afterwards. LOL
-Not getting the request off for Seven Deadly Cities next week!!! but i'll still be there. just a lil late. depending on if my son wants to go. lol j/k i'll be home.(tear drop)

THE UGLY
-Letting a hater(singular, only 1) Get To Me.
-Kat Williams said it best. "Their will always be haters. So let them do their job and hate."

B-Boys are the closest things to super heros. Keep givin me obsticals to jump over; sooner or later, I'LL BE FLYING!

To all my beat rider family. Don't let haters get to you if you got em. People hate on you so that they can feel better.

ALL of you are beautiful positive people.
I don't how the RedBullBeatRiders Staff picked the people, but they did a GREAT job on how they weeded out The Good The Bad and The UGLY.

I'm going through reading everyones take on our experience, and I'm like WOW! How blessed are all of us?! This was an experience to be experienced. dream come true....and then some, way beyond however awesome you think its going to be. It exceeds that. I made friendships that are now forever. Connections that go down in my life history. Memories that'll be told and laughed about till I'm old but hopefully not grey ;)
This journey that I went through with all these people was a spiritual enlightenment on so many levels. In one of our lectures, it was said "Solidarity in a Culture is an absolute must. Constant Elevation will only work if we join together." Coming to beatriders is not only to take all the many jewels that are handed down, taught, and lectured to us, and utilize them in ourselves, but to pass all this knowledge (both in physical movement, spiritually and intellectually) correctly along to our peers, brothers and sisters of this world/lifestyle we all love and hold so close to our hearts. This culture that we can express ourselves so freely from. To look at the bigger picture so our culture we've all fought blood sweat and tears for doesn't die, but constantly elevates in a positive and correct light.
Thank you to everyone who was @ and apart of beatriders 2007... and to all the past riders instuctors and staff that helped to make each year bigger and better. Every single person on this trip touched my heart in someway even if only for a split second, and some numerous times over, but everyone did, and by having my heart touched by all of you has pushed me to elevate myself and let go of fears i could not get rid of before this experience. So thank you again from the bottom of my heart. and I'm down w Bumblebee or as Quick named him "Origami" to have a reunion @ some point. Hugs n Kisses, Peace, Love & Inspiration. Keep Flown.
