p.s. heres another funny memory. so kat n i were chillin on the dock by our cabin...and the infamous black geese (there's 3 of 'em) swooped in by us and very non chalantly came close and hissed @ us and we had to move very slowly away from them cause they looked like they were about to attack us.... well i ran away first and kinda left kat on the dock to fend for herself, but w moral support from the side lines lol. so a couple hrs pass and we're chillin in another cabin and jus got done tellin the story to grem fayzo sweet pea and esko i think...and sweet pea goes to open the door to step out for a sec and comes back in all exstatic sayin "you'll never guess whos outside!" and he opened the door and there they were all three of them right right by the cabin steps! it was scarry and funny.... maybe you had to be there. im sure kats laughin when she reads this.

I first want to say a HUGE thank you to Red Bull and especially Zulu Gremlin, Scotty, Denise, Aaron, Danielle (your photos are amazing!)...and the whole crew who put in so much work to make this event so spectacular. A lot of people don't understand how much work goes into an event like this, everything ran so smooth and on schedule. All of you put in every ounce of energy you had to make sure we had a positive experience and I appreciate you so much for that. Thank you.

If you are reading this trying to decide if you are going to apply next year, just stop reading now and go prepare your submission tape.(well..you can read but then go immediately and prepare your tape) This was the best thing I could have done to further my dance career. I learned essential key elements of urban dance forms, gained knowledge on the business aspects of urban culture and was able to learn and participate in other elements of hip-hop that I have longed to learn.

I am inspired to take better care of my body, Asia 1's yoga every morning was inspirational and great for preparing for each hard day of training that was ahead of us, and Matt's workout after yoga to get our heart rate going was the most intense warm up I have had since high school sports!! lol

To all of the Beat Riders: You are ALL incredibly amazing individuals. I am so honored to have met you and I can't wait to see you again in the future. I wish that we all would have had more time together but when I look back on the experience we definitley made the most of it. I must say I miss all of you already.

Cabin 8 girls! I love you all! You guys made the experience even better! I never got to go away to summer camp, but now I feel like I filled that void in my life..lol

I will never forget Crix, Ivy and I trying to kill a roach that we thought was dead but it was playing possum and when Crix went to grab it it jumped! I grabbed the garbage can and slammed it over the roach and Ivy jumped in the garbage trying to stomp it through the garbage can. When that didn't work, we grabbed a cup and slid a piece of paper under it and finally won the battle with the roach. Or Ivy and I being stuck in the shower when the power went out thinking that we were about to be chopped into tiny pieces and tossed to the geese in the lake. It felt like a really bad scary movie... me whispering "Ivy..I'm so scared right now". Then Gremz, Roc Raida and Fayzo finally coming to the rescue with flashlights.

Bounce, I am sorry we kept you up, we were all like a bunch of giggly school girls! Candy...one word.."booty". Sassy...girl I love you to death...I think you are the only person I could tolerate having ask me over 100 times in 15 minutes "where is my puma bag" and still manage to 1. not strangle them..and 2.really not strangle them when I figured out that your puma bag was right there in the room with us the entire time and was never left at the venue. :) That is love.

Ivy...haha my homegirl!! Words can't describe how much fun I had hanging with you at Beat Riders. I know we will be friends for a long time. I feel like I have known you for years. Red Bull Beat Riders would have been completely different if I had not met you. Love ya girl!

Defy..I think I am the only person who has seen you dance like a girl. Don't stop! :) Remember our little talks. Tiff..what a small world that we are both good friends with the same people. You are so sweet and such an amazing dancer tell my friends in L.A. I said hello! Citrus...I don't know when you woke up to head to your room but Sassy and I pulled your shoes off while you were snoring away on my bed and just left you alone..it was really funny at the time, you were so cute! Crix..you are so cute and humble. I loved talking with you and getting to know you. Lila..I am really happy that I got to meet you, you are one talented girl all around! N.V. you really kept Defy inline, I don't know what she would have been like if you hadn't been there! That girl is one of a kind! :)I love all of you girls and think you are all amazing! Keep dancing and don't stop being you!

As for the cabin wars...Cabin 8 won for sure. The horned beetle on Pharcyde's pillow topped it off and I think our graffiti skills are better displayed in shaving cream with the number 8. A big thank you to Ivy for pulling out the meat patties out of our pillow cases thanks to Kid David and Pharcyde, that could have been potentially horrible had the creatures found it before we did.

As for my matching... haha don't hate...just because you are in the woods doesn't mean you can't rock your fresh gear. Gremz taught me as long as I have an old toothbrush to clean my sneaks I am golden.

To all the guys, you are all amazing and talented, thank you for being so respectful of us and helpful when we asked questions. I would be here all day if I named everyone, but you are all very amazing and I am thankful to have gotten to meet and know all of you!

I can't say enough to Red Bull again for making this the most AMAZING experience in my dance life to date. Zulu Gremlin major thanks your way, your hard work is definitley appreciated greatly. I know we have all grown and learned extensively because of this program, the people you brought together for it, and you. I am so inspired and motivated to do SO much more, it is so uplifting.

So...when is the reunion? I had my jersey altered so it doesn't look like a dress..since Mikey Disco took the last small. ;)

i miss everyone a lot. this sucks i dont wanna be in minneapolis anymore lol. can we have a one month reunion?!

p.s. earlier this week i had typed a long a$$ blog saying a lil somethin bout every single person in this yrs experience (riders, staff, instuctors, ect..) and when i hit post the site had logged me out cause it took me so long. that sucked. and it looks like I.Q. beat me to it b4 i could try a second attempt. I DONT HAVE TO GET A CAST ANYMORE!!! I HAD ANOTHER APPOINTMENT TODAY WITH A BONE SPECIALIST. THE DOCTOR WAS REALLY OLD SO I HOPE HE IS RIGHT. THURSDAY I WENT AND THEY SAID THEY WHERE GOING TO HAVE TO PUT ME IN A CAST FOR 6 WEEKS.... IT FEELS A LIL BETTER AND ITS NOT PURPLE NO MORE.

MISS EVERYONE. STILL KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS SO I HEAL COMPLETELY.
